In September 1982 Tony Rosner and Richard Kaufman opened the doors to Windrush Garage – a four-car showroom, a two-bay workshop and one salesman (me, Tim Attwood), a parts store person, a technician and a sales manager.

Move forward 44 years and we are now the Windrush Automotive Group. Tony Rosner is Chairman, I’m Managing Director and, along with Leigh Chappell, our Financial Director, we have the privilege of heading up this fantastic business and working with one of the most experienced and loyal teams you could wish for.

We have showrooms that display over 30 new cars along with a vast array of Approved Used Volkswagens. Our workshops have a total of 35 service ramps plus we also have what we consider to be the UK’s flagship Trade Parts Specialist (TPS) team.

We have enjoyed the privilege of selling tens of thousands of amazing Volkswagen cars and working with this iconic brand where loyalty and trust have been paramount. Here’s to the next 43 years and a massive thank you to all of our customers that ultimately have made our journey possible.

We regularly sell new and Approved used cars online and offer a full ‘click and collect’ service. Our retail team can create personalised digital brochures for every customer and for every car. Emailed quotations then follow and we can complete the whole purchasing process up in the showroom or live online by video.

Our technical team deliver video and digital updates for all approved servicing and repair work completed in our technical centres where our technicians have access to the latest Volkswagen equipment. We are most proud of our recent transition to have two Volkswagen Battery Competence Centres where we lead the way with growing volumes of electric cars passing through our workshops.
